Automotive Service Advisor

About the role

Ignition car Centre is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing team in Banyo, Brisbane.

In this full-time role you will be the first point of contact for our customers and service team. You will be responsible for service bookings, greeting customers on drop off/collection, communicating with customers for additional work to be carried out and accurately invoicing repair orders.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers and understand their vehicle concerns and requirements

• Book vehicles in for servicing, repairs, inspections and diagnostics

• Prepare repair orders and provide accurate estimates

• Explain required repairs and costs clearly to customers

• Liaise with Workshop Staff

• Keep customers updated on repair progress and any additional work

• Obtain approval before carrying out additional repairs

• Check completed work and ensure the vehicle is ready for collection

• Handle customer questions and follow ups

What We're Looking For

• Strong customer service and communication

• Automotive knowledge or willingness to learn

• Good organisation and time management

• Dealer Management Experience or willingness to learn

• Attention to detail and accurate paperwork

• Professional, friendly and confident manner
