About the Role

PremiAir has a permanent full-time position available for a hardworking and reliable Yard Person to join our busy team located in Huntingwood.

Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, the main responsibility of the roles is to load/unload equipment using forklift truck and general yard duties.

Duties

The main duties and responsibilities of the role include:

• Loading/unloading of hire equipment

• General yard duties including painting barriers 

• Keeping the yard clean and arranging equipment as needed

• Other appropriate duties as directed

Skills and Experience

You must possess a strong sense of urgency with an "I will make it happen" attitude to get the job done. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• A valid Forklift licence is essential to be considered for this role

• MR licence is preferred but not essential 

• Able to follow instructions and work unsupervised and pays attention to detail

• Is self-motivated and takes pride in their work and has a great work ethic 

• Is reliable and punctual and has excellent work ethics

• Is focused on providing the best service to our customers

• Is capable of performing physical activities

• Can work overtime, including weekends when needed

Previous experience and success in a similar role will be highly regarded, however, the successful applicants will be appointed primarily based on attitude and the desire to assist the business in the next phase of growth.
