Theatre Technician

PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Grade 1 theatre technician is responsible for transporting, setting up, cleaning and maintaining theatre equipment and assisting with the positioning of patients in the theatre complex. Grade 1 theatre technicians are required to perform work of a general nature under the supervision of a grade 3 or 4 theatre technician or manager.

Essential

·         Operating Theatre Technician or similar experience in Operating Suite.

·         Commitment to on-going education and self directed learning.

·         Organisational skills and demonstrated ability to prioritise workload.

·         Demonstrates initiative, motivation and confidence.
