Client Manager - Tax & Business Advisory

We’re looking for a Client Manager who enjoys building genuine relationships with clients, solving problems, and making an impact beyond year-end compliance.

You’ll still oversee compliance—but that’s not where the value stops.

You’ll work directly with business owners, lead conversations that matter, identify opportunities for growth and become the person clients call before making important decisions.

You’ll have the autonomy to manage your own client portfolio while working alongside a team that’s focused on innovation, collaboration and exceptional client service.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll become the trusted adviser for a portfolio of business clients, helping them navigate everything from tax and compliance to growth, profitability and strategic decisions.

Your role will include:

• Managing a diverse portfolio of business clients

• Reviewing financial statements, tax returns and compliance work

• Leading client meetings and building trusted relationships

• Providing proactive advice and identifying opportunities to add value throughout the year—not just at tax time

• Meeting with clients to discuss performance, strategy and future goals

• Mentoring and developing junior team members

• Working closely with the directors to improve systems, processes and client experience

About you

We’re less interested in ticking every box than finding someone who genuinely enjoys helping clients.

You’ll likely have:

• 5+ years’ experience in public practice

• CA qualification (or close to completion)

• Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge

• Enjoys talking with clients as much as preparing financial statements

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• A proactive mindset and genuine curiosity about business

• The confidence to manage clients while collaborating with a supportive team

• Loves solving problems and finding better ways of doing things

• Takes ownership and doesn’t wait to be told what to do

• Wants to be part of a business that’s growing and evolving
