INTERMEDIATE ACCOUNTANT - BUSINESS SERVICES – NORTH BRISBANE - PUBLIC PRACTICE (Job ID 1307)

The Role: 

• Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals 

• Preparing BAS and other compliance reports 

• Assisting with tax planning and client advisory work 

• Supporting partners and managers with client assignments and reporting 

• Liaising with clients to gather information and assist with queries 

• Working collaboratively with the broader accounting team to deliver high-quality client outcomes 

About You: 

• Minimum 2 years’ experience within an Australian public practice accounting firm 

• Currently studying or intending to complete CA or CPA qualifications 

• Degree in Accounting, Commerce or related discipline 

• Strong experience preparing financial statements, tax returns and BAS 

• Good knowledge of Australian tax and accounting regulations 

• Strong organisational and communication skills 

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
