The Position/s:

We are seeking a qualified, engaging and enthusiastic teacher/s to join our thriving Mathematics department.

• Secondary General Mathematics Teacher

• Secondary ATAR Mathematics Applications and/or ATAR Mathematics Methods

The King’s College Mathematics Department offers a dynamic curriculum across Years 7 to 12, including Year 7 to 10 Mathematics and a range of senior Secondary Mathematics. Current offerings include Foundation Mathematics, General Mathematics, ATAR Mathematics Applications and ATAR Mathematics Methods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and purposeful Mathematics learning experiences for Secondary students.

• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for helping students understand and enjoy Mathematics.

• Plan and implement differentiated teaching and learning programs that support a range of student needs.

• Create a classroom environment where students feel safe, known, valued and challenged.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, the Heads of Learning Areas, Deans, pastoral staff and College leaders.

• Communicate professionally and respectfully with students, families and staff.

• Support student wellbeing, behaviour, engagement and academic growth.

• Contribute positively to the Christian culture, community life and reputation of the College.

• Uphold the College’s values, policies, professional expectations and child safe practices.

 About You

•  Committed Christian who has demonstrated personal faith.

• Hold a recognised teaching qualification and current TRBWA registration.

• Hold, or be willing to obtain, a current Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance.

• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Show a commitment to high-quality teaching, student wellbeing and professional growth.

• Be able to work collaboratively as part of a team while also taking initiative within the scope of the role.
