Warehouse Store person

About the role

Join our busy team at Rush Express' as a Warehouse Store person in our Smithfield, NSW warehouse. In this casual role, "Leading to permanent for the right person" you will be responsible for receiving, storing and dispatching goods for our clients in the manufacturing, transport and logistics industry. This is a hands-on role where you will be working in a fast-paced environment, so a passion for logistics and strong organisational skills are a must.

What you'll be doing

• Receiving and unloading deliveries of goods and materials

• Accurately recording inventory and stock levels

• Storing goods and materials in the appropriate locations

• Retrieving and preparing goods for dispatch

• Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment

• Assisting with other warehouse and logistics tasks as required

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a warehousing or logistics role

• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Forklift licence

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Commitment to safety and following procedures
