About the Role

Concept Care is an established NDIS registered provider supporting participants with complex care, high intensity as well as behavioural supports across the Sydney metropolitan area.

We are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers for both Full-Time and Casual roles to support participants with complex and high intensity support needs in their homes and community.

You will assist people to live safely, independently, and with dignity while promoting choice, control, and wellbeing.

We are particularly seeking workers experienced in supporting participants with:

• Complex care and high-support needs
• Challenging behaviours
• Intellectual disability and Autism (ASD)
• Physical disability
• Mental health conditions
• Acquired Brain Injury (ABI)
• MS, MND and neurological conditions
• Complex personal care requirements

Key Duties

• Personal care and daily living support
• PEG feeding, catheter, bowel and stoma care
• Medication prompts and support
• Community access, transport, and social participation
• Behaviour support strategies (PBS approach)
• Manual handling and mobility assistance
• Accurate documentation and reporting

Shifts Available

• Full-Time & Casual positions available
• Shifts between 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM
• Overnight shifts (sleepover/active) where required
• Weekdays, weekends, evenings, and public holidays

About You

• Experience in disability support (essential)
• Experience with complex behaviours and high-care needs (highly regarded)
• Calm, reliable, and professional under pressure
• Strong communication and de-escalation skills
• Respectful, person-centred approach
• Willing to learn and work as part of a team

Essential Requirements

• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• National Police Check
• First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011)
• CPR Certificate (HLTAID009)
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence
• Reliable, insured vehicle (non-negotiable)
• Ability to travel across the Sydney Metropolitan Area
• Ability to transport participants when required
