About the role
Community Information & Support Victoria (CISVic) is the peak body for Victoria's community information and support sector. Through advocacy, representation, sector development and operational support, CISVic strengthens a network of member agencies that support people experiencing personal and financial hardship. As a registered charity and Public Benevolent Institution, CISVic plays a vital role in building stronger, more connected and resilient communities across Victoria.
Reporting to the Board, the Chief Executive Officer will provide visionary leadership to advance CISVic's purpose, profile and influence. This highly visible role will see you representing CISVic across government, community and philanthropic sectors, advocating for member organisations and championing the importance of place-based services in supporting vulnerable communities. You will foster strong relationships with key stakeholders and position CISVic as a trusted voice in policy, funding and service system reform.
Leading strategy and organisational performance, you will work closely with the Board, staff and members to deliver long-term impact and sustainability.
