MC/HC Drivers - Casual

MEDLOG is a global logistics and supply chain operator, specialising in wharf cartage, container transport, intermodal logistics and warehouse storage and handling. We are currently seeking casual MC and HC Drivers to support our operations in Merbein.

This is a great opportunity for experienced drivers looking for consistent casual work in a fast-paced transport environment, with weekend work available and an expected start in the coming weeks.

About the role
We are looking casual drivers to support transport operations in Merbein. These roles will suit reliable and safety-focused drivers who can work well independently, follow instructions and provide a high standard of service. The roles are casual award rate positions, with up to 38 hours per week plus weekend work available. Expected commencement is in approximately 2–3 weeks.

Key responsibilities

• Operate HC and/or MC vehicles safely and efficiently

• Complete allocated transport work in line with operational requirements

• Follow all safety, compliance and company procedures

• Use in-truck systems and apps as required

• Communicate effectively with the operations team and relevant stakeholders

• Deliver a high standard of customer service

• Work both independently and as part of a team

About you

• Current HC or MC licence

• Strong attitude toward safety and compliance

• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment

• Good communication skills and customer service approach

• Comfortable learning and using multiple apps on the in-truck tablet, including MT Data, Container Chain and Transfocus, with on-the-job training provided

• MSIC card desirable

• Dangerous Goods licence highly desirable

• Pacific National induction highly desirable
