About the role
Djirra is seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to join our Fundraising, Grants & Events team on a fixed-term basis for 18 months. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled event coordinator to step into a pivotal, organisation wide role at a time when impactful, well managed community events and gatherings are critical to the continued delivery of culturally safe, effective programs and services for Aboriginal women.
To support this mission, Djirra organises and hosts a number of non client facing and community engagement events throughout the year including for our 16 Days of Activism campaign, donor engagement activities, launches and for our 25th anniversary in 2027.
Working closely with the Team Leader the Event Coordinator will organise, oversee and coordinate events, including, but not limited to: –
Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply.
