Forklift Driver - Experienced

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Forklift driver to join the team at Andrews Meat Industries. We have a permanent full time and a seven-month fixed term contract role based at our Lidcombe site and would suit someone who can exercise caution and a high standard of safety.

Work hours:

Permanent: 06:00am - 02:00pm

Fixed Term: 06:00am - 02:00pm

Responsibilities:

· Use a forklift to assist with and maintain effective operations in the warehouse

· Receiving goods in the yard area (meat, dry goods and chemical)

· Stack empty pallets away

· Sorting and grouping different types of pallets

· Work in and around a freezer environment.

· Stock management for dry goods area

· Daily maintenance of yard to ensure it is clean and tidy

· Co-ordinating AMI and CFS receiving in the yard

· Report any incidents appropriately

About you:

· High reach Forklift driving experience with a current licence (A must - you will be required to bring this to interview)

· Minimum 1 year of forklift driving experience is required

· Keen eye for detail, especially when working to strict timelines

· Excellent communications skills

· Loves to work as part of a team and achieve shared goals

· Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required, (or if you have a temporary visa it must have an expiry date of no earlier than June 2027)
