The Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Support Officer to provide project control, coordination and administrative support within a complex Defence environment. Working across an integrated workforce, you will play a key role in supporting project delivery, stakeholder engagement and the effective management of project activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide project support, coordination and administration across project activities and deliverables.
• Conduct research, analysis and reviews to support project planning and decision-making.
• Interpret and apply relevant policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
• Coordinate workflows, monitor progress and support the achievement of project outcomes.
• Engage with stakeholders to provide advice, resolve issues and support project objectives.

About You

• Current NV1 Security Clearance.
• Experience supporting projects within Defence, Government or other complex environments.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Well-developed analytical, problem-solving and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Additional Information

• Full-time onsite role based in Canberra.
• Initial 5-month contract with the potential for a 12-month extension.
