Our Barangaroo venue offers a stunning waterfront dining experience within one of Sydney’s most vibrant precincts.

We are currently seeking a professional and customer-focused full-time Trade Waiter to join our team at our Barangaroo location.

About The Role

This is a full-time position responsible for delivering high-quality table service and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and set tables to ensure an organised, professional and comfortable dining environmentGreet guests warmly and present menus and beverage listsProvide menu recommendations, explain daily specials, and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systemsServe food and beverages in a timely manner in line with the restaurant’s service standardsProvide wine and beverage recommendations, including basic wine pairing guidance, and support the Sommelier team in delivering premium beverage serviceAssist with wine service, including presenting, opening, and pouring wines in accordance with service standardsClear tables, return dishes and cutlery to the kitchen, and maintain cleanliness of dining areasRefill drinks as required and remove empty glassware and bottles efficientlyProvide bills and process payments accurately, including handling cash and electronic transactionsDeliver consistent, high-quality customer service throughout the entire guest experience

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

At least 2 year of relevant work experience in a similar roleStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentGood understanding of customer service standards and restaurant operationsA positive attitude and a passion for hospitality
