Receptionist/Treatment Coordinator

About the role

You will be an integral part of our front-of-house team, creating a welcoming experience for every patient while working closely with our dentists and clinical team. This is more than a traditional reception role. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with patients, helping them understand their treatment options and supporting them through their dental journey from their first conversation through to completion of their care.

Key responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and providing exceptional customer service
• Managing appointments, phone calls and patient enquiries
• Building strong, trusting relationships with patients
• Discussing treatment plans and helping patients understand their recommended care
• Developing skills in treatment coordination, particularly for comprehensive and high-value treatment
• Following up treatment plans and supporting patients in making informed decisions about their dental health
• Coordinating appointments and ensuring a smooth patient journey
• Assisting with administrative and financial aspects of treatment
• Contributing to a positive, professional and supportive team environment

• Has a genuine passion for dental health and helping people
• Is confident, personable and naturally good at building rapport
• Has excellent communication and organisational skills
• Is comfortable discussing treatment and investment in care with patients
• Has an interest in treatment coordination and case acceptance
• Is motivated to learn and grow within the dental industry
• Takes pride in delivering an exceptional patient experience
• Is professional, positive and compassionate
• Has previous dental reception or healthcare experience (preferred, but not essential for the right person)
