This is a senior operational role responsible for managing the supply and distribution function across multiple and ongoing construction projects throughout New South Wales.

Central point of coordination between overseas manufacturers, procurement teams, logistics providers and Australian builders, ensuring products are procured, manufactured, quality controlled and delivered in accordance with contractual requirements and construction programmes.
Responsible for procurement planning, supplier management, commercial decision-making and end-to-end supply chain coordination. Planning, directing and coordinating procurement activities for multiple commercial and residential construction supply projects simultaneously. Managing end-to-end procurement of construction materials through overseas manufacturers and suppliers, ensuring products meet client specifications, budgets and delivery deadlines.
Developing procurement strategies and supply schedules to ensure uninterrupted product availability across numerous projects. Negotiating pricing, commercial terms and supply arrangements with international manufacturers while maintaining company purchasing policies and profit margins. Establishing and maintaining strategic relationships with overseas suppliers, manufacturers, freight providers and logistics partners to ensure reliable supply chain performance.
Coordinating production schedules with manufacturing facilities to ensure materials are produced in accordance with project programmes. Monitoring manufacturing progress, quality control inspections and production milestones before authorising shipment to Australia. Managing the movement and distribution of construction materials from overseas suppliers through international freight channels to Australian construction sites.
Coordinating shipping schedules, customs clearance requirements and local delivery arrangements to ensure projects receive materials on time. Reviewing supplier performance, production quality, pricing and delivery outcomes to maintain high service standards and minimise operational risks. Managing commercial tender responses by reviewing supplier quotations, analysing procurement costs and preparing pricing proposals for builders and developers.
Forecasting procurement requirements and coordinating purchasing activities to support future project demand and business growth. Monitoring project supply pipelines and proactively identifying potential procurement or logistics risks that may affect project delivery. Liaising daily with Australian builders, architects, developers, project managers and internal construction administration staff to coordinate supply activities and resolve operational issues.
Overseeing shop drawing approvals and coordinating technical documentation between manufacturers and clients prior to production commencement. Conducting site visits throughout project delivery to verify product quality, monitor delivery outcomes and resolve supply or installation issues where required. Coordinating internal project administration staff and supporting teams to ensure procurement, logistics and customer communication activities are completed efficiently.
Preparing procurement reports, supply forecasts, logistics updates and project performance reports for senior management. Identifying opportunities to improve procurement processes, strengthen supplier performance and increase supply chain efficiency across the business. Qualification & experience Skills and Experience
The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in supply and distribution management, procurement, supplier management, logistics and supply chain coordination. Experience coordinating international suppliers and manufacturers, freight and logistics providers and Australian clients within the construction supply industry will be highly regarded. Applicants must possess a bachlors qualifications with 1 year of expreince and/or 5 years of relevant employment experience required to competently perform the position of Supply and Distribution Manager.
The successful applicant must have strong organisational, commercial, communication and negotiation skills and be capable of managing multiple concurrent supply projects. Atleast 5 years of closely related work exprience will substitue for formal qualifcations.
