(The period of these contracts are subject to and in accordance with the maternity leave provisions of the City of Onkaparinga MOA Enterprise Agreement)

Permanent part time working 60.8 hours per fortnight 

About the Position

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and thrive in a dynamic, ever-evolving environment? We’re seeking a customer-focused professional to join our dedicated Customer Relations team. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of providing outstanding support to our customers and internal teams.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering front-line customer service in the contact centre through inbound calls and webchat.
• Future opportunities to deliver front-line customer service at our front counters are available.
• Building and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with colleagues across the organisation.
• Striving to meet and exceed individual and team-based key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Contributing to the seamless operation of a ‘one-stop-shop’ service centre.

About You

The successful candidate will possess:

• Customer service experience within a contract centre and/or face-to-face environment.
• A professional, friendly, and empathetic phone manner.
• Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency with customer relationship management (CRM) systems or similar platforms.
• Cash handling experience with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling clear and effective interactions with customers and team members.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
