3rd Year Apprentice Carpenter – Structural Timber Framing

Ascent Carpentry specialises in structural timber framing for luxury residential construction across Sydney. We're a growing team that takes pride in quality workmanship and setting apprentices up to become strong tradespeople.

The role

We're looking for a 3rd year apprentice carpenter to join our framing crews on high-end residential builds. You'll be working alongside experienced lead carpenters, framing homes from the ground up.

What you'll be doing

• Structural timber wall, floor, and roof framing on luxury residential projects

• Reading and working from plans

• Setting out and cutting to spec

• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised site

• Learning from and supporting our lead carpenters

What we're looking for

• Currently a 3rd year apprentice carpenter

• Hands-on experience framing homes — this is essential

• White Card

• Own reliable transport and driver's licence

• Own basic hand tools

• Strong work ethic, punctual, and keen to learn

• Good attitude and works well in a team
