About the Role 

We are currently recruiting a HSEQ Advisor to be located in Hallam. The HSEQ Advisor provides health, safety, quality, environmental and sustainability support across the business. You'll work closely with field staff, leaders, subcontractors and clients to ensure compliance, manage risk, improve performance, and promote a proactive safety culture.

This is a highly visible role that combines field engagement, coaching, auditing, incident management, reporting, and continuous improvement activities to support safe and successful project delivery.

Location & Work Arrangement:

• Hallam based HSEQ Advisor, with regular travel across our other locations and field based work

Your Role & Key Responsibilities: ​

• Provide day-to-day HSEQ support and advice to operational teams.

• Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards.

• Coordinate and manage Return to Work (RTW) and injury management programs.

• Lead and support incident, near miss and HIPO investigations using recognised methodologies.

• Conduct audits, inspections and field-based safety observations.

• Review risk assessments, hazard analyses and safe work procedures.

• Monitor HSEQ performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, training and awareness sessions.

• Prepare HSEQ reports for leadership, clients and VINCI reporting requirements.

• Support the development of Quality, Safety and Environmental Management Plans.

• Champion sustainability initiatives and environmental improvement opportunities.

• Build positive relationships and promote a strong safety culture across the business

What you will need:

• Bachelor Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent qualification.

• Current White Card.

• Current Driver's Licence.

• Strong understanding of Australian WHS legislation and HSEQ best practices.

• Experience conducting audits, inspections and incident investigations.

• Ability to interpret standards and legislative requirements and apply them practically.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both field and office-based teams.

• Strong reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills
