Recruitment Coordinator

Reporting into the Workforce Supervisor, the Recruitment Coordinator plays a key role in supporting KBSS's Operations function through blue collar recruitment and workforce mobilisation. This role manages the administrative processes that underpin successful hiring, ensuring recruitment activities run smoothly and in compliance with company, client, and legislative requirements, while delivering a high standard of service to candidates.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Support job advertising, candidate screening, and recruitment administration activities for blue collar roles.
• Post job advertisements across internal and external job boards, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Monitor job applications, collate resumes, and maintain accurate records in JobAdder.
• Manage medicals, inductions, training, licences, police clearances, and other compliance documentation to meet client and legislative requirements.
• Prepare letters of offer in line with relevant EBAs, and assist with drafting employment contracts.
• Coordinate pre-employment documentation and assist with mobilisation and induction processes.
• Prepare and distribute recruitment documentation, including interview schedules and candidate packs.
• Maintain recruitment trackers, reports, and metrics to support HR decision-making.
• Support internal recruitment campaigns and assist with workforce mobilisation as required.
• Ensure all recruitment and onboarding processes adhere to KBSS and client requirements.

Skills & Experience

• Experience using JobAdder is essential.
• Previous experience in blue collar recruitment, mobilisation, or a similar support role.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Sound understanding of employment compliance requirements, including EBAs, licences, and police clearances.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and service-oriented approach.
• Proficient written communication skills, with the ability to write clear and engaging job advertisements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in the Mining and/or Energy sector highly regarded.
