MR Truck Driver with Forklift licence (Casual with a view to permanent)

About the role

You will play an important role in supporting our Melbourne transport and depot operations, including collecting and delivering freight for existing and new customer contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Collection and delivery of air and sea freight across Melbourne
• Airport, freight terminal and customer collections
• Multi-drop pickups and deliveries
• Safe loading and unloading of freight
• Operating an MR truck safely and professionally
• Forklift operation and freight handling
• Assisting with warehouse and cargo processing when required
• Freight scanning and basic computer-based processing
• Ensuring freight is handled securely and delivered on time
• Maintaining WHS and Chain of Responsibility requirements

About you

• Current MR Truck Licence – essential
• Current Forklift Licence – essential
• Minimum 2 years' truck driving experience
• Good driving record
• Strong knowledge of Melbourne roads and transport routes
• Experience with multi-drop pickups and deliveries
• Airfreight, sea freight, courier or logistics experience highly regarded
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn our operational systems
• Strong focus on safety and compliance
