CNC Machine / Press Brake Operator – Steel Profile Cutting

Ferrocut is South Australia’s leading and most progressive steel profile cutting company, servicing mining, engineering, agricultural, defence, tooling, and automotive industries.

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled CNC Machine / Press Brake Operator to join our production team.

This full-time permanent role operates Monday to Friday in a fast-paced environment, combining machine operation, crane and forklift driving, and basic machine maintenance.

• Operate CNC machines / Brake Press safely and efficiently

• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts for material handling

• Perform routine machine maintenance and inspections

• Read and interpret technical/mechanical drawings

• Ensure safety, quality, and production targets are consistently met

To succeed, you must have:

• CNC machine operation experience (preferred)

• Press brake operation experience (preferred)

• Overhead crane driving experience (preferred)

• Current forklift license (essential)

• Strong mechanical/technical drawing knowledge

• Sheet metal fabrication background (Advantageous)

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• “Can-do” attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic

• Ability to perform physical/manual tasks safely
