Senior Business Analyst – Business Transformation Sydney | 2 Positions | 7-Month Contract

About the Opportunity Advance Thinking is seeking two experienced Senior Business Analysts to join a major business transformation program with one of our key enterprise clients.

This is an opportunity for strong BAs who enjoy working across complex environments, engaging with senior stakeholders and turning business challenges into clear requirements, improved processes and practical delivery outcomes.

You'll work across a broad transformation agenda spanning business process, technology, data and operational change, helping shape solutions from initial discovery through to implementation.

The Role You'll work closely with business, project and technology stakeholders to understand current-state challenges, define future requirements and support the successful delivery of transformation initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:

• Lead requirements gathering, discovery and analysis with business stakeholders.
• Translate complex business needs into clear business and system requirements.
• Map and analyse current and future-state processes.
• Identify process inefficiencies, root causes and improvement opportunities.
• Support business process re-engineering and process optimisation initiatives.
• Use qualitative and quantitative data to develop insights and recommendations.
• Partner with delivery and technology teams throughout solution design and implementation.
• Coordinate business testing and validate solutions against agreed requirements.
• Support operational and organisational design activities.
• Develop high-quality project documentation and governance artefacts.
• Build strong relationships across business, technology and delivery teams.

What We're Looking For We're looking for experienced Senior Business Analysts who can operate autonomously within complex enterprise transformation environments.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• Strong Senior Business Analysis experience within large organisations.
• Demonstrated experience delivering business transformation and change initiatives.
• Strong requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation capability.
• Experience with process mapping, process improvement and business process re-engineering.
• Strong analytical capability, including working with business and commercial data.
• Experience supporting solution design, testing and implementation.
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
• Ability to work across both business and technology teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Previous experience within insurance is highly desirable, with broader financial services experience also well regarded.
