About the role We're seeking a highly capable and organised Legal Coordinator to act as a trusted partner to our national Legal team.In this key role, you will provide executive support to the Group General Counsel (Group GC) and the Head of Legal Operations, while taking ownership of complex internal processes across multiple states. As a linchpin for a national team, you will drive operational excellence and deliver key strategic initiatives in the legal operations space.If you are a seasoned administrative professional who thrives on seamlessly managing executive priorities, optimising team workflows, administering legal services procurement, and empowering a high-performing team, this role offers meaningful, challenging, and exciting work. Day-to-day, you will: Provide high-level executive support-including diary, email, and itinerary management-for the Group General Counsel and the Head of Legal Operations.Master and manage complex, cross-state coordination for the national legal team, ensuring seamless communication, scheduling, and alignment across jurisdictions.Orchestrate key team meetings, strategy sessions, and our annual team offsite, including managing logistics, agendas, and liaising with guests and presenters.Oversee team travel arrangements and drive a seamless onboarding experience for new team members nationally.Work with the Head of Legal Operations to identify, design, and execute innovative change projects that drive operational excellence across the legal function.Champion the adoption of new tools and technology that Legal Operations drives across the team to maximise efficiency and elevate the delivery of legal services.Support the team to own our records management processes and practices, maintaining strong standards for management of digital and physical documents.Coordinate the renewal of practicing certificates, and ensuring team compliance with core internal protocols.Support the relationship management approach for our external legal panel, acting as a liaison with relevant law firm staff to communicate process changes and resolve escalations.Manage core financial administration tasks for the team, including PO lifecycle processes, expenses claims, payments, and end-of-year accruals. This role will suit a proactive, curious-minded professional with a proven track record of managing complexity. You will bring: Extensive experience in an Executive Assistant, Office Manager, or senior coordinator position, ideally within an in-house corporate legal team or top-tier law firm.Demonstrated capability to manage complex, multi-state operational processes and support a geographically dispersed team.Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and a strong drive to explore, learn, and champion new legal technologies.Outstanding commercial acumen and knowledge of the legal sector, with a desire to stay ahead of industry trends.Exceptional time management and organisational skills, with the agility to flawlessly balance executive support tasks with long-term operational projects.Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, external partners, and team members alike.A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the autonomy to anticipate needs and deliver what needs doing If you meet some of these requirements, but not all, we encourage you to submit your application.
