Supervisor - Electrical

UGL Utilities are recruiting for a Electrical Supervisor to join our team on a newly awarded Substation Project in NSW

What will a day in this role look like\: 

·       Supervise and coordinate daily site-based electrical construction activities

·       Manage electrical crews, subcontractors and apprentices to ensure productivity, quality and compliance.

·       Oversee installation and termination of cables, earth grids, HV plant, switchgear and associated services.

·       Coordinate works in live operational environments including substations.

·       Lead toolbox talks, pre-start meetings and safety initiatives

·       Ensure HSSEQ, QA and project documentation requirements are met

·       Monitor progress, workforce performance and timesheets

·       Support workforce development, inductions and compliance training

·       Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders and site leadership

What are we looking for you to bring to the team\: 

·       Experience within the construction industry within a team lead/supervisory role

·       Strong planning and coordination skills

·       A proven record driving continuous improvement

·       Demonstrated organisational capabilities

·       Strong communication skills

·       Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Access & Outlook

·       Knowledge of LEAN principals

·       Experience with Primavera, MS Project, SAP and experience on substations green or brownfield suits civil
