Supply Chain & Operations Manager

Reporting into the CEO, you will be responsible for the strategic management and optimisation of procurement and supply chain processes, including supplier management, inventory planning and procurement systems. Your focus is on integrating production seamlessly with just-in-time procurement, optimising costs, and ensuring zero unplanned downtime across our operations.

This is currently an individual contributor position with strategic accountability, directly tied to OKRs on cost efficiency, reliability, and safety. As the business grows, this position will evolve with responsibility for shaping procurement and supply chain processes to support the company’s long-term growth strategy.

Procurement & Supply Chain

• Develop and execute procurement and supply chain strategies that optimise costs, mitigate risk, and ensure supply continuity.

• Lead supplier negotiations to optimise BOM costs and secure favourable terms.

• Implement and maintain just-in-time procurement models to align with production schedules.

• Digitise and streamline procurement processes, integrating with ERP and Salesforce systems.

Supplier & Logistics Coordination

• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics requirements to support the timely movement of procured materials and finished products.

• Establish relationships with logistics partners to ensure service reliability and cost efficiency.

Inventory Planning & Analysis

• Develop inventory strategies to support manufacturing, repairs, and maintenance requirements.

• Implement stock control frameworks, including Just-in-Time restocking of critical inventory.

• Conduct quarterly stocktakes, audits, analysis and reporting to inform procurement and business decisions.

• Manage procurement and inventory processes for consumables, ensuring digital traceability of gas, tooling, and other operational supplies.

Process Improvement

• Analyse procurement and supply-related causes of downtime to identify risks and opportunities for process improvement.

About you

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field.

1+ years’ experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain.

Experience in supplier negotiation, cost analysis, procurement planning, and inventory management.

Strong analytical, commercial, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work independently in a specialist capacity and provide procurement and supply chain advice directly to senior management.
