 Lawyer – Commercial & Transactional

Darwin | Full-time

We are seeking a lawyer with more than 2 years’ post-admission experience to join our practice in Darwin.

The position will primarily involve commercial and transactional work, with the opportunity for the right candidate to develop a broader practice and gain exposure to litigation, land and property claims, and other areas of law.

About the role

You will work directly with experienced practitioners on a range of matters, including:

• Commercial contracts and transactions

• Corporate and business matters

• Property and land transactions

• Advice to businesses and organisations

• Commercial disputes and litigation

• Land claims and related proceedings

• Other areas of practice depending on your interests and experience

We are looking for someone who is commercially minded, has sound legal judgment and wants to take on responsibility and develop their practice.

About you

You will have:

• More than 2 years’ post-admission experience

• Strong written and analytical skills

• Sound commercial judgment

• The ability to work independently while also working collaboratively

• A practical and client-focused approach

• A willingness to develop across different areas of legal practice

Experience in commercial law, corporate work, property, litigation or a related area will be highly regarded.
