Dozer Operator

Daracon Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Dozer Operator to join our Plant Operations team.

This role will primarily involve operating Dozers across a variety of civil construction and mining projects throughout Newcastle, the Hunter and surrounding regions.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Demonstrated experience operating dozers from D6 to D10 in civil and/or mining environments.

• Sound knowledge and experience with modern machine control systems, including

• Caterpillar Grade Control technology and Trimble Earthworks.

• The ability to carry out bulk earthworks, batters, rehabilitation and final trim activities to specification.

• A strong commitment to safety, quality and environmental standards.

• The ability to work effectively within a team and communicate with supervisors and other site personnel.

• Current competencies and site-based operating experience relevant to the role.

• A current driver's licence and the ability to work across various project locations.

• Flexibility and willingness to work away from home on remote projects when required.

 
Desirable requirements include:

• GPS/machine guidance experience.

• Experience working on civil construction and mining projects.

• Current SOA in Dozer Operations.

• Experience working to tight tolerances and achieving high-quality final trim outcomes.
