We are currently seeking enthusiastic and polished Casual Restaurant Hosts and Food & Beverage Runners to join our Front of House teams.

Whether welcoming guests at the door or supporting the floor during a busy service, these roles are an important part of delivering the warm, professional and memorable hospitality our venues are known for.

About the Venues

a’Mare – Our Two-Hatted flagship Italian restaurant, delivering refined Italian dining, exceptional produce and sophisticated tableside service.

Pizza’Mare – A vibrant and energetic Italian dining experience focused on pizza, pasta and relaxed hospitality.

Vista’Mare – Our stylish bar and dining space, bringing together drinks, snacks and contemporary Italian hospitality within the Crown Sydney precinct.

Restaurant Hosts

As a Restaurant Host, you will be the first and last point of contact for our guests.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Warmly welcoming and farewelling guests.
• Managing reservations, table allocations and guest arrivals.
• Coordinating closely with the restaurant management and floor teams.
• Answering guest enquiries professionally and confidently.
• Maintaining an organised and polished reception area.
• Supporting the smooth flow of service during busy periods.
• Providing genuine, personalised hospitality from the moment guests arrive.

Previous experience using SevenRooms or another reservation management system will be highly regarded.

Food & Beverage Runners

Our Food & Beverage Runners play an essential role in supporting our waitstaff and ensuring efficient service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering food and beverages accurately and efficiently to tables.
• Confidently carrying multiple plates and trays during service.
• Having a clear understanding of table numbers and restaurant sections.
• Communicating effectively with chefs, waitstaff and managers.
• Assisting with clearing, resetting and maintaining tables.
• Keeping service areas clean, organised and well stocked.
• Learning menu items and being able to confidently identify dishes.
• Supporting the wider Front of House team wherever required.

About You

We are looking for people who:

• Have a genuine interest in hospitality and guest service.
• Are confident, friendly and professional.
• Thrive in a busy, fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Are reliable and available across evenings and weekends.
• Take pride in presentation and attention to detail.
• Are keen to learn and develop within hospitality.
• Hold a current NSW RSA where required for the position.
• Have valid Australian working rights.
• Must be able to pass a police compliance check

Previous restaurant experience is highly regarded; however, candidates with the right attitude, energy and willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.
