About the role

Powder Tanker Repairs Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team in Emu Plains, NSW. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of heavy vehicles and be part of an innovative and growing company in the automotive industry.

What you'll be doing

• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs on Powder Tankers

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical & electrical issues

• Perform inspections and identify any necessary repairs or replacements

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work completed

• Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard and in compliance with safety regulations

• Assist with the training and mentoring of junior mechanics

What we're looking for

• Qualified heavy vehicle mechanic with relevant experience

• Certificate IV in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent

• Strong understanding of mechanical & electrical systems in heavy vehicles

• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Commitment to providing high-quality work and exceptional customer service

• Must have Australian work rights
