General Manager Corporate Services

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our executive team at Sapphire Coast Community Aged Care, as General Manager Corporate Services.   This is a new position that will support growth and development in our aged care service, which supports the Bega Valley community.  Built on a tradition of almost 50 years delivering quality care and services, Sapphire Coast Community Aged Care is at the heart of our community, ensuring innovative and contemporary service delivery across our retirement, home care and residential communities.

·         Lead and inspire people to deliver great care and services

·         You will drive and support innovative business practices to ensure sustainability

·         You have an opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of staff and clients everyday

Essential Selection Criteria:

o   Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior leadership position responsible for business development and human resources

o   Tertiary qualification in a related field such as business, human resources, health management, information technology

o   Knowledge of the Aged Care Act 2024 and the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission quality standards

o   Well-developed business and analytical skills, with a proven track record to meet strategic objectives

o   Proven management and leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and motivate staff

o   Highly developed interpersonal skills, conflict management and negotiation skills

o   Competent computer skills and the ability to use data and information management systems

o   Experience driving service development or business improvement initiatives

o   Demonstrated experience in human resources principles and people management 

o   Understanding of quality improvement principles, accreditation processes, WHS legislation and other Acts affecting this position

o   A passion for excellence and demonstrated empathy for older people, commitment to innovative best practice and quality improvement

Desirable Selection Criteria:

o   Postgraduate qualifications in Management, Aged Care, Health Management

o   Aged Care experience
