Procurement Officer/Civil Estimator

Tracc Civil is an industry-leading civil construction and earthmoving contractor based in Bibra Lake, Western Australia, delivering projects across the Perth Metropolitan Area.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer / Civil Estimator to join our Estimating team. This combined role offers the opportunity to support the estimating and procurement requirements of a diverse portfolio of civil infrastructure projects valued between $500K and $10 million.
The successful candidate will prepare accurate estimates, coordinate the procurement of materials and subcontractor services, and contribute to successful tender submissions and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the Estimating team to prepare accurate and comprehensive estimatesComplete quantity take-offs, requests for quotes and tender submissionsSource, assess and negotiate quotes from subcontractors and suppliersIncorporate labour, resources, productivity, materials and subcontractor costs into estimatesQuantify and procure inground service materials, including water, sewer, drainage, gas, power and NBNCoordinate the timely delivery of materials to project sitesSupport the Ingrounds Superintendent with procurement and forecasting for current and upcoming projectsLiaise with Project Managers, construction teams, suppliers and subcontractorsAssist with project handovers and prepare variations when requiredAttend site inspections as requiredKey Requirements:Relevant professional qualifications and/or industry experienceProven experience in civil estimating, procurement or a similar role within civil constructionStrong knowledge of earthworks, roadworks, drainage, sewer and services infrastructureSound understanding of inground infrastructure components and materialsExperience completing quantity take-offs and obtaining supplier and subcontractor pricingStrong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skillsExcellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlinesAbility to work collaboratively across estimating and project delivery teamsKey Benefits:Competitive salary based on experienceWeekly pay cycleFull-time permanent position with an immediate start availablePaid training, professional development and upskillingSupportive and collaborative management teamPositive, inclusive and friendly workplace cultureFree onsite parkingEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)
