Plant Operator Level 4 - Maintenance Grader

Lachlan Shire Council is seeking a Plant Operator Level 4 - Maintenance Grader to join our Roads Team!

This position is responsible for the operation and basic maintenance of Council's maintenance Graders. Other duties may vary from time to time and will include general labouring and other plant operation.

This full-time position is based in Condobolin NSW, but working across the entire shire.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• The ability to safely operate a Grader
• Previous work related experience
• Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Basic knowledge of plant maintenance
• Good literacy skills
• A current Class C Driver Licence
• The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.

What we Offer

Salary and Conditions:

• Salary range: $2,395.16 to $2,574.79 per fortnight
• Starting salary will be determined based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
• Position classified at Grade 6 within Council's Salary Structure.
• Employment conditions in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award.
