About the role
Working alongside the Key Operator you will be responsible for assisting in setting up all aspects of the machine in a timely and accurate manner; prepare tooling/materials for the next order to facilitate a quick change-over; keep the work area clean; machine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance; perform in-process quality checks; stack bundles; and assist the Operator to ensure the machinery runs at its optimum performance.
Key responsibilities
Assist in setting up all aspects of the machine in a timely and accurate manner
Prepare tooling/materials for the next order to facilitate a quick change-over
Keep the work area clean
Machine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance
Perform in-process quality checks
Stack bundles
Assist the Operator to ensure the machinery runs at its optimum performance
About you
A 'can do' attitude and be a self-starter
Demonstrated performance in current/previous role
Ability to work as part of a team
Good communication skills
Driven for results – actively strive towards achieving team goals/targets
Ability to work efficiently without direct supervision to complete your duties
Willing to be flexible in working across other machines within your skillset and upskill if/when required
Strong focus on quality and commitment to upholding Workplace Health & Safety standards in your own work and that of others
