Project Manager

ADE Power is an Australian manufacturer and engineering company specialising in the design, manufacture and assembly of modular generator enclosures, electrical switch rooms, and skid-mounted power infrastructure solutions.

Based in Tomago & Hexham, NSW, we deliver customised solutions for data centres, mining operations, critical power systems, and industrial facilities throughout Australia.

As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of multiple projects while maintaining strong customer relationships, commercial performance, and operational excellence.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of projects from planning and procurement through to delivery, commissioning, and project close-out.

This is a highly visible role that requires strong leadership, commercial acumen, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced manufacturing and project environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Operations

• Manage the full lifecycle delivery of projects to scope, budget, quality, and schedule requirements.

• Coordinate project personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal resources.

• Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and resource plans.

• Monitor project progress and provide regular reports to clients and management.

• Ensure plant, equipment, and resources are effectively utilised.

• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and opportunities.

• Manage project assets, tools, and vehicles.

• Support customers with technical project information and advice.

• Conduct post-project reviews and drive continuous improvement.

Commercial & Contract Management

• Manage contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

• Administer contract correspondence, notices, and documentation.

• Monitor project budgets, job costs, and productivity targets.

• Identify, document, cost, and negotiate project variations.

• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with agreed commercial outcomes.

• Report cost, schedule, and scope issues to the Projects Director.

Customer Relationships

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication.

• Provide regular project updates relating to time, cost, and scope.

• Ensure customers receive a high level of service before, during, and after project delivery.

• Act as a key point of contact throughout project execution.

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead project teams with clear direction, accountability, and support.

• Communicate goals, responsibilities, and project expectations.

• Mentor, coach, and develop team members.

• Ensure personnel are appropriately trained and competent.

• Foster a culture focused on safety, quality, teamwork, and performance.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Trade qualification, Engineering qualification, or tertiary management qualification.

• Demonstrated experience in a Project Manager role within industrial, manufacturing, power generation, mining, construction, electrical infrastructure, or related industries.

• Strong contract administration and commercial management experience.

• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

• Experience managing project budgets and financial performance.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• Strong organisational and planning abilities.

• A proactive, solutions-focused approach.

• Current driver's licence.

• High commitment to workplace health and safety.

Desirable

• Mine site project experience.

• Experience with modular buildings, switch rooms, generator enclosures, power infrastructure, or industrial fabrication projects.

• Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
