National Mobile Camps (NMC) currently has positions available for Camp Managers to join our growing team.
About Us
Established in 2009 National Mobile Camps (NMC) has emerged as Australia's leading service provider for remote mobile camp accommodation. We currently operate more than 23 mobile camp packages comprising over 700 beds.
Our client list is impressive with some of the largest resources companies having utilised our services over the last 15 years.
About the Role:
The Camp Manager provides overall management of the camp and is the primary contact on site for the client. As the Camp Manager you will lead daily operations across the accommodation, food service, and housekeeping functions. You will foster a safety-first culture and cultivate client relationships and ensure service excellence aligns with expectations.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Management of Camp staff and ensure activities are in line with service delivery agreements including scope and contractual requirements.
Ensure adherence to Food Safety Plan.
Stock control and food ordering.
Menu planning in liaison with the Operations Manager.
Complete all relevant safety reporting.
To ensure efficient utilization of accommodation.
Maintain resident records including; Check-in/out; Dietary requirements; Day/night shift
Liaison with maintenance team to ensure optimum functionality of assets.
Demonstrate and proactively promote and motivate all personnel to focus operational efforts towards a culture of continuous improvement in HSE performance.
Contribute to ongoing improvements towards safer and healthier work environments.
About you:
Previous experience in management or operational role.
Experience leading small, dynamic teams and mentoring less experienced individuals.
Proven communication skills to effectively engage key stakeholders and employees at all levels.
Excellent time management skills to ensure work is prioritised and delivered within specified timeframes.
High level planning, analytical and problem solving skills.
The ability to work autonomously and be hands-on when required.
Strong frontline safety leadership skills; ensuring safe work practices are adhered to by staff and contractors
Qualifications
Certificate III Commercial Cookery (minimum requirement)
Permanent rights to work in Australia with no restrictions
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
Mobile camp operations & field experience
Experience working in challenging and evolving work environments
Intermediate computer skills in MS Word, Excel & Outlook
