Category Manager

About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Buying, you'll support the successful management and growth of our Glues, Grout & Trade Products category, while assisting with initiatives across other product categories. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting category planning and execution activities
• Analysing sales, product and market data to identify trends and opportunities
• Coordinating supplier communications and product updates
• Assisting with product launches, range reviews and pricing activities
• Managing product information and maintaining category data accuracy
• Supporting promotional and commercial initiatives
• Monitoring category performance and preparing reports to support decision-making
• Coordinating product samples, presentations and product review activities
• Assist projects and category initiatives as required
• Building effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support category outcome

About You
We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, commercially curious and ready to take the next step in their career.

You'll bring:

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confidence working with data, spreadsheets and reporting tools
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in buying support, procurement, merchandising, retail operations, trade products, supply chain or product administration will be highly regarded. However, we also welcome candidates looking to make their first move into Category Management.
• A qualification in Business, Marketing, Commerce or a related discipline is advantageous.
