Machine Operator

About the opportunity:

We’re seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our Beverage Can manufacturing plant based in Yatala. This is a full-time permanent role on a fixed night shift with overtime available. 

• Roster Details: Monday to Friday 6pm to 2am + Shift Loading + Overtime 

What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.

• Operate can making machines to meet production, service, and quality standards for the manufacture of beverage cans.
• Troubleshooting and dealing with production issues, alongside maintenance team.
• Assist in decorating, coating and palletising machine setups, dismantling and job changeovers tasks for a production run.
• Perform quality inspection checks and other procedural checks to ensure the best quality is delivered to our customers.
• Maintain safe work and operating practices, and a high level of housekeeping.
