As a Finance Business Partner, you'll work closely with Serco businesses to deliver timely, accurate and relevant financial information that supports informed decision-making. Working across contracts within the Serco portfolio, you'll help drive consistency in financial reporting, support the monthly reporting timetable and provide analysis that identifies opportunities for business improvement. This is a collaborative role where your commercial acumen, financial expertise and ability to build trusted relationships will help deliver meaningful insights and support better business outcomes.

As a Finance Business Partner, you'll make a positive impact by:

Serving as a trusted and accessible point of contact for the Commercial Finance team and General ManagersSupporting the month-end close process across assigned contracts, ensuring timelines and deliverables are metEnsuring the integrity of financial records through forecasts, budgets, monthly reporting, reconciliations and compliance packsProviding ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support business decision-makingChampioning collaboration across virtual teams and supporting the Finance Operating ModelIdentifying opportunities to streamline and improve accounting processes and supporting audit requirements

An appropriate professional qualification such as CA, CPA or equivalentStrong commercial acumen and the ability to link financial and non-financial value driversAdvanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, with proficiency in SAP and experience with data warehouse toolsExceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearlyStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgement when working with incomplete or ambiguous informationA proven ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
