About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on role involves assembling metal and fabricated components, sub-assemblies, and equipment in accordance with engineering drawings and work instructions.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work, values safety, and enjoys working as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Assembly

• Assemble fabricated metal components in line with technical drawings and SOPs

• Perform mechanical fitting, bolting, alignment and welding preparation

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and work orders

• Maintain accurate production records

Machine/Equipment Operation

• Operate production machinery including overhead cranes and lifting equipment safely and efficiently

• Set up machines and perform changeovers as required

• Troubleshoot basic machinery issues and escalate where required

Safety & Quality

• Complete equipment pre-start checks

• Follow all WHS procedures and company policies

• Complete quality checks to ensure products meet specifications

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives

About You

• Experience in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Experience operating hand/power/ pneumatic tools and machinery

• Strong attention to detail

• A solid understanding of workplace health & safety practices

• Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude

• Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic

• Willingness to undergo and successfully pass a pre-employment medical assessment (including functional capacity assessment) and Drug and alcohol screening
