Tanker and Combo (Jet/Vaccume) Operators (HR & HC Licence)

GMA Environmental Services Pty Ltd is seeking Tanker & Combo (Jet/Vacuum) Operators to join our Morwell branch, servicing the Gippsland region.

We are looking for reliable, hands-on operators who are comfortable working with heavy vehicles and plant and are interested in developing their skills across vacuum tanker, high-pressure water jetting and combination jet/vacuum operations.

Experienced operators are highly regarded; however, training and upskilling can be provided to the right candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic, practical ability and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate vacuum tankers and combination jet/vacuum units

• Undertake high-pressure water jetting of sewer and drainage infrastructure

• Carry out liquid waste, sludge and debris removal

• Respond to sewer blockages, overflows and emergency works

• Transport and dispose of waste in accordance with environmental requirements

• Complete daily vehicle, plant and equipment checks

• Complete job documentation and digital field records accurately

• Maintain vehicles and equipment in a clean and operational condition

• Work safely around confined spaces, sewer infrastructure and heavy plant

• Participate in after-hours and on-call works when required

• Follow GMA safety procedures, SWMS and client requirements

Requirements

• HR Licence (Essential)

• Willingness and ability to learn tanker, jetting and combo operations

• Basic computer literacy

• Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset

Desirable (Not Essential)

• Confined Space Entry (with BA & Rescue)

• White Card

• Working at Heights

• First Aid

• Traffic Control
