About the role
Liebherr Australia is looking for a Scheduling Officer to join our team in SA. In this role you will be responsible for the provision of efficient Production, Scheduling, Coordination and Administrative Services to Remanufacturing and its Customers.
Reporting to the Production Scheduling Officer – you will be responsible for developing and managing the production schedules for our Production teams. You must be able to prove your experience with Short and Long-term Planning Scenarios, Coordination of Scheduling systems.

Skills and Duties:
With an immediate start available, you will be required to:
· Administration: Preparation and delivery of all relevant shop floor documentation (e.g. Production Orders, technical drawings, quality procedures). Reconciling inventory, routing and sub-con allocations against production result; management of Production Order Planning with particular focus on Date Management for Planned, Release and In-Process; data entry into the ERP system, development of required reports, maintain and manage the storage of production records and documentation
· Scheduling: Develop and manage rolling 8-week production schedule in line with available resource and capacity,
· Create: WIP production schedules for internal and external operations, including re-prioritisation due to demand and material changes
· Operational support: External Stakeholder repair execution, scope of works, repair times and escalations/prioritisation and re-prioritisation, provide detailed Production Order management for inventory, including routing (operation) and sub-con allocation
· Customer Service: Escalation point for expediting critical component shortage(s), responding accordingly for providing prompt solutions and timeline to support customer requirements
Essential Requirements:
Knowledge of material resource planning (MRP) and inventory control as applied in a job shop manufacturing environment.
· Experience working with the planning and/or manufacturing modules of an ERP system
· Experience and understanding of planning, scheduling and production environments.
· Experience and understanding in inventory management, purchasing and procurement.
· Previous work experience, preferably within Mining industry related.
· Experience in rotable pool and service exchange programs.
And most importantly … demonstrate a commitment to workplace safety and the safety of your co-workers!
Those candidates successful in progressing past interview stage will be required to undergo a Pre-employment process including National Police Clearance and Medical Screening which includes drug and alcohol testing.
