SMYA is an established leader in packaging and contract beverage filling in Australia and New Zealand and is a joint venture between two packaging leaders, San Miguel Corporation of the Philippines and Nihon Yamamura Glass of Japan. 

The Role

We have an exciting full time opportunities for experienced Warehouse/Forklift Operator to join our busy Cospak Willawong branch.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Operation of machinery inclusive of counter balance and high reach forklifts to load and unload trucks, pick and move stock around the warehouse

• Receipt of inwards goods and storage 

• Picking packing

• Dispatch of outwards goods

• Stock control ensuring all inwards and outwards good have correct documentation

• Perform quality checks to ensure inwards goods are in tact and outwards goods are free from damage

Skills Required:

• Forklift License and Forklift driving experience

• High Reach Forklift experience

• 1-2 years experience in a warehouse environment including pick/packing experience

• Understanding of Safety and Quality

• Attention to detail and ability to effectively prioritise workload

• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work unsupervised

• Ability to work well in a team environment and contribute positively to the warehouse team

• Manual Handling up to 20kg required

• Computer literate

• Strong work ethic

• RF scanning experience
