Mako is looking for individuals who are self-motivated, determined, and able to prioritise tasks. You should have a positive attitude and follow safe work practices. Our ideal employees are forward-thinking and dedicated to promoting a culture of high performance through teamwork and cooperation.

Essential Criteria include

• HD Trade Qualification (Australian recognised)

• Experience with any type of underground equipment is required, demonstrating versatility across various mining machinery and systems.

• Must have full working rights in Australia.

• National Police Clearance

• Underground drill experience - highly regarded

• Current and Valid Manual Australian Drivers Licence

• Excellent workmanship and fault-finding skills

• Adhere to WHS policies and procedures

Preferred Criteria Includes

• Working knowledge of Sandvik and Atlas Copco Drills

• First Aid Certificate

• Safe Working at Heights

• Current & valid Dangerous Goods Security Card

• Minesite Experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and preventative maintenance

• Carry out repairs, fault finding and diagnostic

• Provide technical support to the site maintenance team

• Willingness to train and mentor apprentices
