Who are we?

Mallee Track Health and Community Service (MTHCS) is an innovative integrated Multi-Purpose Service (MPS) located in the heart of the Mallee in North West Victoria.  As an MPS we provide services across the age and life span – from early childhood education and care to residential aged care.  We have a diverse workforce which reflects the nature of the services that we provide. As a health service we are immensely proud of the work of this service – and the staff and volunteers who continue to connect us together.

The role:

Exciting opportunities exist for Registered Nurses who are empathetic, enthusiastic and compassionate looking to join our professional clinical team. The Registered Nurse is a member of a multidisciplinary health care team providing leadership and support for staff, patients, residents and their families. As a Registered Nurse you are responsible for providing the quality day to day health care, supported by contemporary standards and evidence, to meet the needs of patients and consumers.

Key Selection Criteria

• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent

• Current AHPRA Registration

• Clinical competence in acute, emergency, aged and palliative care.

• Sound knowledge of the requirements of Aged Care Standards

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.

• Aptitude for clinical teaching.

• Ongoing maintenance of professional competence.
