We're looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level executive and administrative support to our Ombudsman and CEO. You'll be a trusted partner who can proactively manage priorities, coordinate information flow, anticipate needs and ensure day-to-day activities run smoothly.
This role requires exceptional organisational skills, sound judgement, discretion and the ability to build strong relationships with a broad range of stakeholders. You'll work closely with the Executive Leadership Team, Board and external stakeholders, providing critical support across executive operations, governance activities, stakeholder engagement and organisational coordination.You'll enjoy working autonomously while remaining highly collaborative, bringing initiative, professionalism and a solutions-focused approach to everything you do.

Your New Role and TeamReporting to the Ombudsman and CEO, you will play a key role in supporting effective leadership, governance and organisational coordination across EWOV.
As the Executive Assistant, you'll manage the Ombudsman's calendar, inbox and workflow, ensuring priorities are effectively coordinated and the Ombudsman is well prepared for stakeholder, governance and leadership engagements. You'll act as a key liaison point for internal and external stakeholders, manage sensitive communications with discretion and professionalism, and help facilitate timely and effective outcomes.
Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, Board and key stakeholders, you'll coordinate governance activities, meetings, events and executive communications. You'll prepare briefing materials and correspondence, monitor actions and commitments, and help drive strategic priorities and organisational initiatives across EWOV.
You'll also contribute to office operations and administrative coordination, helping ensure effective support services across the organisation and creating an environment where our leaders and teams can do their best work.
What You’ll Bring Demonstrated experience as an Executive Assistant supporting a CEO or other senior executiveAbility to see the bigger picture and act as a true partnerExceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environmentProven ability to anticipate needs, identify issues and take initiative with minimal directionStrong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with confidence interacting with senior leaders, Board members and external stakeholdersExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing high-quality correspondence, reports and briefing materialsStrong attention to detail, professionalism and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomesHigh levels of discretion, integrity and sound judgement when managing confidential informationProficiency across Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and ExcelA collaborative approach and genuine commitment to supporting a purpose-driven organisation
