About the role

Concept Cabinets is seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker to join our skilled team in Thomastown, VIC. This is a full-time position where you will be at the heart of our cabinet manufacturing operations, crafting high-quality custom cabinetry. You will work on-site in our Thomastown factory.

Key responsibilities

• Construct and assemble custom cabinets according to client specifications and technical drawings

• Operate and maintain a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and effectively

• Select and prepare materials, ensuring quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process

• Install hardware, hinges, handles and other fittings with precision and care

• Collaborate with the design and installation teams to ensure projects are completed to specification and on schedule

• Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment in accordance with health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker

• Advanced proficiency in operating woodworking machinery, including table saws, routers, sanders and edge-banding equipment

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD specifications accurately

• Solid understanding of wood joinery techniques, finishes and assembly methods

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• A commitment to quality craftsmanship and professional workmanship standard
