About the Role:
The Inventory Manager is responsible for maintaining accurate and efficient inventory across all company locations.
Working closely with the Supply Chain Manager, Warehouse Manager and Showroom Managers, the role will oversee stock accuracy, stock takes, inventory reporting, stock movements and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management
● Maintain accurate inventory across all locations.
● Manage stock takes and cycle counts.
● Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
● Monitor stock transfers, damaged, missing and obsolete stock.
● Maintain accurate inventory records and systems.
● Monitor stock levels and identify overstock and slow-moving inventory.
● Work with warehouse and showroom teams to improve inventory processes.
Reporting Systems
● Prepare regular inventory reports and KPIs.
● Analyze inventory data and identify issues or trends.
● Maintain accurate ERP/WMS and inventory system records.
● Monitor inventory adjustments and variances.
● Develop and maintain inventory procedures and controls.
Continuous Improvement
● Identify opportunities to improve stock accuracy and inventory efficiency.
● Implement processes to reduce stock losses and discrepancies.
● Support inventory and supply chain improvement initiatives.
● Work with key stakeholders to improve inventory management across the business.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Experience
● 3 to 5 years experience in inventory, supply chain or warehouse operations.
● Experience managing inventory across multiple locations.
● Strong stock control and stocktake experience.
● Experience with ERP/WMS/inventory systems.
● Strong Excel, reporting and analytical skills.
● Strong attention to detail.
● Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
● Ability to work independently across multiple locations.
● Willingness to travel.
Must-Haves
● Australian Work Authorization
● Current Australian driver's licence
