Parking and Information Officer (Casual)

Are you energetic, self-motivated and passionate about delivering great customer service?

Devonport City Council is seeking a Parking & Information Officer to join our Parking Team on a casual basis. This is a rewarding and varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll help ensure adequate turnover of parking spaces across the municipality while providing information and assistance to residents, visitors and tourists.

Working from the paranaple centre and throughout the Devonport municipality, you’ll be out in the community, engaging with people, providing visitor information, supporting Council services and helping create a positive experience for everyone who visits our city.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Monitoring parking areas and enforcing parking regulations.
• Providing tourist and visitor information.
• Assisting customers with parking and general enquiries.
• Reporting faulty parking infrastructure and meters.
• Supporting Council’s commitment to excellent customer service.
• Working collaboratively as part of a supportive team.

Position Details:

This is a casual position to fill casual and temporary vacancies on an as-needed basis. Hours may vary and flexibility will be required, including the ability to work weekends.
