About the Role

As a paediatric Occupational Therapist, you’ll provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy services that empower clients to maximise their independence, participation and quality of life.

Working across the NDIS and private sectors, you’ll support children with a broad range of developmental, functional and learning needs through assessment, intervention and collaborative goal setting with support to move into your areas of interest. This role offers variety every day—working within our clinics, clients’ homes, schools and community environments while partnering closely with families, carers and other professionals.

You are:

• Experience (or willingness to work) with children within the NDIS and community sector
• Strong clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice skills
• An ability to build positive relationships with clients, families and stakeholders
• Organised and able to manage your own caseload alongside our experienced admin team
• Compassionate while maintaining strong professional boundaries
• Collaborative and enjoy working within a multidisciplinary team
• Curious, reflective and committed to ongoing learning
• Adaptable across a variety of clinical environments

Skills & Knowledge

• Conducting Occupational Therapy assessments using standardised and functional assessment tools
• Developing individualised therapy plans focused on meaningful outcomes
• Delivering evidence-based interventions across home, clinic, and community settings
• Collaborating with families, support coordinators, educators and other allied health professionals
• Preparing high-quality reports for NDIS Medicare and families
• Monitoring client progress and reviewing therapy plans
• Providing education and coaching to families, carers and support workers
• Contributing to multidisciplinary care planning
• Participating in clinical supervision, professional development and continuous improvement initiatives
• Working towards agreed service delivery KPIs
• Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with legislative and funding requirements

Essential Requirements

• Full qualification in Occupational Therapy
• Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist, or eligibility to apply
• Current Blue Card
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card)
• Current First Aid and CPR Certification
• Current Driver Licence
